I wonder if I should get all the content set up before I start the layout, it seems to me I’ll have to change the widths of certain portions anyway in order for everything to fit correctly. At least I can get some things set up. I’ll finish the main image too.

Wah, it looks like this thing is coming together pretty well, all I need is more content and to clean this place up. Once that’s all done I’ll start to mess around with the theme… I haven’t even drawn the main graphic yet. :/

Lol, Cawnswella’s quite funny, she was telling me about a job she’d read about in the paper or something (I was only half listening) for an art director, and she said it listed knowledge of anime/manga an asset…! AN ASSET! Wow, I remember when I was a kid and all anyone ever did was scorn. Look out world, anime has already taken over. Muah! All I need to do is actually get something out there.

Well, the about and gallery pages are complete. I need to add more content to the gallery, but otherwise it’s absolutely done. What I’m unsure about right now is how to go about the links page… Multiple pages for one category or no? I have a lot of links, I wish there was an easy way to organize them all rather than cutting and pasting over and over again. Maybe I’ll have to go ahead and cut my link section down (no!), to a more reasonable presentation. Ideally, I’d look for a wp plugin that would do most things for me… if I can’t find a link script, maybe a gallery? Ah well. I better start work on the actual layout soon, as much as I like Blix, this place won’t be mine until I create my own.

In other news… I didn’t know I had a pathetically bitchy and catty side to me. It’s amusing as well as sad. I always thought I was beyond that, but ever since dipping my toes into this dating thing, I’ve seen sides to me I never thought existed. I miss my youthful days of manic celibacy. All this jealousy over stupid things is really quite lame.

Heh heh… So I figured out how to make the links pages… You can check them out in the links section. It seems like I’ll have everything from a particular category on one page though, which is fine. But when I get all my links up, prepare for long loads.

Yeah, so my current links are finally complete, although I haven’t even touched the fanart side of things yet. I still wish there was a way to split the links into multiple pages. Anyhow for now I’ll work on the layout. I’m thinking of getting a different gallery script as well, because there are some things about this one I don’t like.

I’m adding a few plugins here or there, and struggling with the layout. I’ve got something, but I don’t like the way it looks, so I’m leaving it for now…

LOST 21: OMJeezus no! I swear, this episode of Lost has to be one of the saddest episodes of Lost I’ve ever seen in my entire life! I don’t what it is, but seeing Libby die made me sob my eyeballs out! It’s very possibly because Hurley was blaming himself….. *sob* And because Sawyer was being such a beautiful generous soul! Or because Kate was crying, and Kate’s so cute that seeing her cry breaks my heart… Goodbye Libby. Goodbye Ana Lucia. BTW, I love Mr. Eko. Really really love him. That is all. I can not WAIT for the next episode… 49 minutes and counting.

Oh, MY God! I can’t believe it… I mean, I think I actually finished this! Wow, admittedly there are a few bugs here or there, and I haven’t finished adding all the content, but I think I’m ready to go public with this. Hurray! In the next couple of days expect more random things to keep showing up. I’m fully in love with wordpress and all the little plug-ins available, although I think I’m good to go right now. The galleries and links will expand for sure, and if I can think of anything else I’m missing I’ll add it.

BTW, if you find anything wonky or missing, please let me know, okay? Are the colours to light? Is the layout too big… Actually I know it’s too big, sorry. Anyhow, just comment away.

One Piece/Art +1; One Piece/Scribbles + 5

So I watched some anime today… yep. First time in a really long time actually - maybe even years! - and I have to say I may just love Ouran High School Host Club! It’s seriously terribly cute! The art’s fantastic, the character’s are adorable and fun, and the story’s hilarious! A mustsee I assure any fans of shoujo/shounen-ai hinting, romantic comedies! The story is this: Poor girl in rich school accidentally stumbles upon the strange Host Club, which involves handsome/charming young men in the school who are hired out as “hosts” to the ladies. Some bad stuff happens - a) They mistake said girl, Haruhi, for a boy… an extremely nerdy/ugly boy, who they normally don’t cater to, but hey s/he’s that “commoner” and they’re interested, and b) In her confusion and nervousness, she breaks a supremely expensive vase. Well, you can put two and two together… in order to pay for it, they make her (him) a dog that’ll serve the club. Some more stuff happens and they discover - hell! s/he’s actually a super good looking boy! Let’s make her a host! Eheh… ‘Nuff said.

So far I love Haruhi, just because she doesn’t seem to care about anything romantic or anything, yet remains such an adorable girl… and boy! The “king’s” affection for her is awesome! The twins are classic!!!! They are _such_ every fangirl’s dream twins, and with each episode I love them EVEN MORE! Hikaru x Kaoru or Both x Haruhi is teh win! Yays! Plus Honey-kun… oh my… Honey-kun!! *dies* shota~ */dies* So yeah… shoujo loving fangirls hop aboard! In other news:

I’m sad! My stupid computer has stopped working… Stopped working! I can’t access any of my files… I can’t draw… I can’t watch Ouran! What will I do…? I’m totally gonna have to buy a new one, I’m just super glad the harddrive hasn’t crashed, at least when I get the new one I can transfer all my files. Yikes, expect no updates for the next little while in art or website related. I may blog my horror every once in a while though… yeah, look out for that. I won’t even have time until next Saturday to go shopping.

Well shitson, already it’s been two days without my beloved, and instead of randomly geeking around, all I do is either work out, draw or go out with my friends! GO OUT WITH MY FRIENDS! FTW!? It’s like I’m some sort of healthy, well-adjusted human being… Hell I even go to bed on time! TO SLEEP! I’ve had breakfast two days in a row… I’m so scared. I’M SO LOST! I just looked at the clock on the wall and thought it was quarter to 11… It’s only quarter to 10!!! and I’m even planning on going to bed…
